Tourguide with small boat license 1 (Skipper M/F)
Is amusing and informing people your second nature and can you tell a lot about our canals in Amsterdam? Then you are the host / hostess skipper we are looking for!
Kinboat is a fast-growing and ambitious start-up cruising company in Amsterdam that places a high priority on hospitality. At the moment our fleet consists of 20 boats. We are a no-nonsense company with a small, close team. Working at KINboat is a big challenge: nothing is certain and everything is possible! You work at KINboat in a team with very dedicated colleagues who only have one goal; KINboat the most beautiful shipping company in Amsterdam!
We expect our skippers to provide all our guests with an unforgettable boat trip. We are therefore not looking for employees who come to cruise the boat, we are looking for a true entertainer. Someone who can level up with his guests and groups of different nationalities can speak as an expert from Amsterdam. Speaking the English language is a must. If your knowledge of Amsterdam is limited, as long as you are interested, we will make sure you will know everything about our beautiful capital which you get a lot of information in no time to tell the best stories. Of course, we also expect you to take the initiative to increase your knowledge about Amsterdam.
Who are we looking for
- Someone who meets the description above. You are also a flexible person, who is available during the day, at the weekend and in the evenings. Our planning often consists of last minute calls so that we can never make a schedule for you far in advance. You should also take into account that your service can always end later due to unexpected extra trips. Preferably you have experience with cruising in Amsterdam.
- You are in possession of a small boat license 1 + basic certificate
- You are in possession of your own transport. Our boats are located in the marina in Amsterdam Noord, which is moderately accessible by public transport. No buses run in the evening.
- You speak both Dutch and English fluently. Preferably you also have a third European language as powerful as German, Spanish or French.
