Top 10 Rooftop bars Amsterdam.


The old city center of Amsterdam can be characterized by the many historic canals and buildings that can be best explored on foot, by bike or from the water.
However, if you are looking for a unique view or would like to discover how the city and accompanying canals have been developed, climb (or take the lift) to the top floor of the buildings below and enjoy the beautiful view. We were looking for where you need to be and put together this top 10 for you, have fun!


1) Public Library Amsterdam.

Public Library Amsterdam - On the corner of the Oosterdokdskade (next to the Central Station of Amsterdam) is the public library. The library is open all week from 10:00 to 22:00 and free to visit.
Tip: Because the viewpoint is covered, it can also be visited if it rains.

2) NEMO.

NEMO Amsterdam KINboat Museum

NEMO - The large green NEMO Science Museum building is already an art object in itself, but it also offers a beautiful view of the city. Take the elevator or climb the 120 steps to the top floor and combine the view with a snack from the restaurant.

3) A'DAM Lookout.

A'DAM Lookout - Climb to the 21st floor of this 100 meter high building and enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the historic canals of Amsterdam, but also of the polder area on the north side of Amsterdam.
Tip: For the real thrillseekers there are two swings that you swing over the edge at 100 meters.

4) REM island.

REM island - On the IJ, opposite industrial location NDSM, you will find the former sea platform: REM Island.
Previously, this platform served as a platform for the Advertising Exploitation Society but has now been transformed into a hip restaurant with roof terrace.

8) Floor17.

Floor17 - At a short distance from the old city center you will find the trendy nightlife Floor17.
On the seventeenth floor of the Ramada Apollo Center you will find Floor17's sky bar.
Enjoy a tasty dish in the restaurant or head up to the 85-meter-high roof terrace.
