Top 10 Historical museums in Amsterdam!

At the historic Prinsengracht, next to the Westerkerk, you will find the Anne Frank Museum.

3) The Rijksmuseum.

Located on the Museum Square (Museumplein), the Rijksmuseum is absolutely one of the top museums in Amsterdam. The Rijksmuseum is one of the largest museums in the city and was completely reopened in 2013 after a 10-year renovation. 4) The Scheepvaartmuseum.

Built in 1656 as a former warehouse, the sails, ropes and ammunition for the Dutch navy were stored here. Since 1973 you can find the Scheepvaartmuseum (Amsterdam) at this location. Visit the replica of a former VOC ship and discover how the Netherlands has become so rich thanks to these ships.
