Pllek is a self-claimed creative hotspot on the NDSM Wharf in the North of Amsterdam. Besides the delicious (vegan) food and drinks they serve in the restaurant, you can also enjoy the sun on the artificial beach and with a gorgeous view over the water and all the boats that pass the IJ canal. An absolute must to experience!

2. De Mirandabad - close to the station RAI in the South of Amsterdam

De Mirandabad is one of the most beautiful swimming pools in the city. With its iconic round rooftop you can spot this pool from far. The swimming pool has a subtropical wave pool, a 25-meter pool and of course an outdoor swimming pool with a toddlers' pool that is open all summer. 3. Roest - Amsterdam East

Roest in the East of Amsterdam is a hip restaurant, bar and perfect hangout to enjoy the beautiful weather. They have enough place where you can sit with your feet in the sand. They also have several hammocks and you can sit on close to the canal. It is even possible to come to Roest by boat. If it's getting really warm, you can go for a swim in the canals. 4. Brediusbad  - Amsterdam West

The Brediusbad is a heated outdoor swimming pool near the Westerpark in Amsterdam West. It has a swimming pool of 33 by 25 meters, a swimming pool suitable for children and a paddling pool for the little ones among us. Heated showers, covered changing rooms and lockers are also available. A food stand is available for a refreshing drink or to get some food and various picnic tables are on the grass to enjoy a delicious lunch.

5. De Ceuvel - Amsterdam North

The Ceuvel in Amsterdam Noord is a cultural hotspot and fully self-sufficient.
