On Sunday 22 september more than 35.000 people will run 10 English miles (16,1km) in the biggest running event of its kind in the country. The route will start right in the heart of Amsterdam and will end in Zaandam, passing a few notable objects like going through the IJ-tunnel (that obviously will be closed for cars during that day). For kids (4 to 12 years) there will be shorter distances to run too. They can either choose to run 0,6 or 2,2km.
Running not your thing? You can also choose to attend the bike race with several routes from 40 to 145 km in distances. For supporters there will be enough to do and see, so make sure you will have a look at it!
P.S. Is running your thing, but wanna run a shorter distance? On the night before there's the Damloop by night and that route is 5 English miles long. There's still some spots available!
